Thanks to our partners British Council Czech Republic

We are so happy to support the Prague Fringe; world class theatre, in English, modelled on the Edinburgh Fringe!

The British Council creates friendly knowledge and understanding between the people of the UK and other countries. They do this by making a positive contribution to the UK and the countries they work with – changing lives by creating opportunities, building connections and engendering trust. British Council work with over 100 countries across the world in the fields of arts and culture, English language, education and civil society. Each year reaching over 20 million people face-to-face and more than 500 million people online, via broadcasts and publications.

Arts is a cornerstone of the British Council’s mission and therefore it's imperative to find new ways of connecting with and understanding each other through the arts, to develop stronger creative sectors around the world that are better connected with the UK. That is why we are so happy to support the Prague Fringe Festival – world class theatre, in English, modelled on the original Edinburgh Fringe Festival!

The British Council, a UK charity governed by Royal Charter and a UK public body, is the United Kingdom's international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, founded in 1934.  The first office in Prague was established in 1946.  We continue to connect UK arts organisations and artists with the Czech Republic , support long-term bilateral partnerships and provide life and career opportunities through English language teaching and exams, remaining the partner of choice for Czech parents, candidates and teachers of English.

More information about courses, summer camps and more can be found on the British Council website: www.britishcouncil.cz
