Květen 2025

Prague Fringe Prologue - Open call!

Applications are open now for our interim digital celebration of 20 years!

Due to the ongoing effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, we are currently working on rescheduling 2021's 'main event' to September when we hope live theatre in some form will once again be safe and open for all.

In the meantime, to celebrate the dates of what would have been our 20th anniversary festival this May, we've created Prague Fringe Prologue, our interim digital festival and an incredible opportunity for performers with high-quality video recordings of their work to be seen on a national scale here in the Czech Republic.

Working in partnership with the Czech Republic's leading theatre streaming site, Dramox (think Netflix for theatre) all successful applicants will be considered for a streaming contract and from Friday 28th May - Saturday 5th June 2021 the 'Committee's Favourites' selection will also be presented worldwide via the Prague Fringe website - viewers will stream via a donation system. Selected shows will then be available for Czech audiences to stream via Dramox.

Applications are open now for high-quality recordings of any and all theatre productions.

By high quality we mean filmed by at least two cameras, with stable sound, and in HD quality or higher.  Full details and application requirements are available on our Participate page

The deadline for applications is Monday 12th April so don't delay - apply today!
